If you care about fighting the racial disparities that are still too prevalent in America, the NAACP is the place where you can make a difference.

“What does the NAACP do?” The short answer is we work for racial equality. The longer answer comes in the form of our Committees. For example, our Legal Redress Committee will work with community members who feel they have been inequitably treated or outright discriminated against. The Women In NAACP Committee will concentrate on issues specific to women and children. The Freedom Fund Committee plans fundraisers and other projects. And the list goes on. We partner with other community organizations that fight for liberty and equality to make the best use of our resources and our community members.
